Tailor-Made Tours or Combined Experiences

For centuries, the rich tapestry of Jewish culture has been interwoven into the fabric of Morocco. The country once hosted a vibrant Jewish community, comprising a quarter of a million individuals – the largest such community in the Arab world. Over the span of two millennia, Moroccan Jews peacefully coexisted with the predominantly Muslim Berbers and Arabs. However, the establishment of Israel in 1948 led many to migrate, leaving only around 3,000 Jews in Morocco today, with the largest community residing in Casablanca.

Morocco’s landscape is adorned with numerous Jewish heritage sites and sacred spaces, each offering an intimate connection to ancient traditions, time-honored customs, distinctive architecture, monuments, and locations that have left an indelible mark on Moroccan society throughout the ages. Every Imperial city boasts a historic Jewish mellah, while an abundance of synagogues and cemeteries beckon to be discovered.
