Private driver from “Morocco Holiday Maker” will pick you up from your hotel in Fes. driving toward the Atlas mountains in Ifrane, where we visit this charming resort. We will have a stop in the “Cedar Forest” near Azrou, where you may watch monkeys. We will travel to Midelt, famous mineral city, where is large production of apples. You will have opportunity to explore town Erfoud, after we cross the Ziz Valley. Then we visit souk in Rissani and you will spend a night in Merzouga desert hotel with dinner and breakfast.
On the next morning we explore Sahara desert . We make a 4Ă—4 tour through the desert. You visit the desert village of Khamlia to experience Gnawa music in Morocco. The highlight will be camel ride and we spend a night in Berber tents in the middle of dunes.
We continues and you wake up early to watch the Sahara sunrise. We enjoy 1 hour morning camel trek and after breakfast we will head towards Todgha Gorge, passing through the vast palm grove of Tinerhir. We explore rock canyon ,famous for climbers then we drive to Dades gorges. Here you will have dinner and spend the night.
Today we explore the “Roses Valley” with a beautiful scenery. We will enjoy perfect view of oasis around Skoura before we stop in Ouarzazate for a guided visit of the Kasbah of Taourirt. It is a World Heritage Site. Overnight in Ouarzazate with dinner and breakfast.
After a traditional Moroccan breakfast, we explore the fortified city in Atlas mountains. You will have guided tour of Ait Benhaddou, listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1987. Here few famous movies have been made including Gladiator and The Mummy. You will explore Hight Atlas on the way to Marrakech passing through the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Our tour finish at your hotel. This tour may finish in Fes.
