Marrakech – Chigaga – Todra Gorge – Fez 4 days

The Marrakech to Fez journey via Erg Chigaga can be experienced over 4 or 5 days, depending on your available time. Both itineraries include a stay of 2 nights at our exclusive Erg Chigaga luxury desert camp. Opting for the longer trip, spanning 5 days, is ideal for those with more leisurely schedules, allowing ample time to relish the unique scenery and attractions.

Covering a distance of 9 hours from Marrakech plus necessary stops, the camp is situated 60 km off-road from the nearest town, M’Hamid. Access to the camp demands a 4×4 vehicle to navigate sand, dried-out lakes, and rocky terrain. Its secluded location guarantees the absence of tour buses and mass tourism. Once there, it’s common to climb the dunes and enjoy solitude and tranquility, often encountering no one. This setting offers a haven of peacefulness and serenity. The journey, especially north of Todra Gorge, often ventures off the beaten path, showcasing the finest aspects of rural Morocco.

During your stay at the camp, all meals, both soft and alcoholic drinks, and guided camel trips are provided. Additional activities such as sandboarding, guided walks, lunch, sundowners on the dunes, and casual singing and drumming around the fire are also included. Where overnight stays are incorporated, dinner and breakfast (excluding drinks) are part of the package.

A private 4×4 Land Cruiser, driven by a knowledgeable and responsible English-speaking driver, serves as your transportation for the tour.
