Overview

Morocco boasts an impressive total of nine UNESCO heritage sites—the highest number in Africa, even surpassing Egypt. This esteemed list encompasses the imperial cities of Fez, Marrakech, Meknes, and Rabat, as well as the noteworthy locations of Ait Ben Haddou, Volubilis, and the coastal town of Essaouira. Additionally, the lesser-known yet historically significant towns of El Jadida and Tetouan are also included.

While we may not be members of the UNESCO committee, we have chosen to incorporate the charming town of Chefchaouen into the tour. Its inclusion is not only due to its picturesque allure, but also because it is en route and will soon attain UNESCO heritage status regardless.

To make the most of this comprehensive journey spanning the length and breadth of the country, we recommend allocating 14 days for the tour. However, should you desire a more leisurely pace, intend to include a night or two in the desert, or need to tailor the itinerary due to time constraints, modifications can certainly be made.

While the tour is structured with an assumption of your arrival in Marrakech and departure from Fez, we remain flexible to adjust the itinerary based on your entry and exit points. Do note that for flights originating from Casablanca, the travel time to Marrakech is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, while the journey to Fez takes around 3 hours.
